Account recovery if you lose access to your email

By Coachful2 min readUpdated Oct 19, 2026

Recover the original sign-in identity and request a reviewed ownership check when email access is lost.

If you lose access to your sign-in email, first check whether you normally sign in with a password, Google or Apple. Recover that original identity rather than creating a second Coachful account.

If you can still open Coachful

Review Manage account → Profile. Changing the email requires ownership verification using the current sign-in method and a verification link at the new address. If you cannot complete those checks, contact support before signing out of the only device you can still use.

If you cannot sign in

Try the recovery process offered by your email, Google or Apple provider. Contact Coachful support with the original account email and workspace URL if that does not resolve access. Support may need additional ownership verification. Do not send passwords, authenticator secrets, backup codes or payment-card details in a message.

What not to expect

Coachful does not provide a TOTP backup-code recovery screen or a device-history panel. There is no guaranteed one-business-day recovery or automatic transfer to another account. Account recovery is separate from changing billing, refunding a payment or moving client data.

If the steps do not match what you see, contact support@coachful.co with the workspace URL, the action you tried and a screenshot without passwords or codes. Do not post client information in a public channel.
