Two-factor authentication: current Coachful security options

By Coachful2 min readUpdated Oct 19, 2026

Understand the security controls Coachful currently provides and how Google, Apple and email-provider verification differ.

Coachful does not currently expose its own authenticator-app enrollment flow. There is no Coachful QR-code setup, backup-code generator, trusted-device list or team-member 2FA badge to enable from Account Security. Earlier instructions describing those controls were inaccurate.

Protect the account you use to sign in

If you use Google or Apple to sign in, manage that provider's verification and recovery options with the provider. If you use email and password, use a unique password and protect your email account with its own security controls. A provider's two-factor authentication is separate from a Coachful-specific setting.

Current Coachful security controls

Open your account menu, choose Manage account, then Security. The available controls include password management, Sign out all devices and Download my data. Account controls are separate from workspace branding, client access and your connected Stripe account.

Use Sign out all devices when you need to revoke your Coachful sessions. Be ready to sign in again. This screen does not list individual devices, locations or IP addresses.

Calendar and payment services

Connecting Apple Calendar can require Apple two-factor authentication and an app-specific password. Stripe and other connected services manage their own verification. Those requirements do not add an authenticator setting to Coachful.

If the steps do not match what you see, contact support@coachful.co with the workspace URL, the action you tried and a screenshot without passwords or codes. Do not post client information in a public channel.

Frequently asked questions

Can I scan a Coachful 2FA QR code?

Does Apple Calendar require Coachful 2FA?
No. Its two-factor requirement belongs to your Apple account. iCloud connects using an Apple app-specific password.
