Kajabi Review 2026: Strengths, Limits and Verdict for Coaches

This Kajabi review gives the short answer first: Kajabi is a polished platform for selling courses, memberships, communities and group programs from one account, and it is a good fit if your business is mostly products sold to an audience. It is a weaker fit if your coaching happens one client at a time, between sessions, through habits, check-ins and contracts. Plans run from $179 to $499 a month as listed in October 2026 ($143 to $399 a month billed annually), and public reviews are split: Kajabi holds 3.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews, seen on 25 October 2026.
We make Coachful, a coaching platform that competes with Kajabi, so read this with that in mind. Everything below about Kajabi comes from Kajabi's own pricing page and help center in October 2026, our September 2026 research profile, and what public reviewers report. We have not run a business on Kajabi, and we say where a fact is dated or unclear.
Kajabi review: what is the short verdict?
Kajabi suits established course and membership businesses that want website, email, funnels, checkout, courses and community under one contact list. Coaches who mainly run 1:1 or small-group client work, and who want structure between sessions, will usually find a coaching platform a better match for less money.
- Who it suits: creators and coaches with an existing audience who sell courses, memberships, digital downloads or group programs, and who want marketing and delivery in one login.
- Who should skip it: new or part-time coaches who have not sold yet (the entry plan is $179 a month with a 5-product and 2,500-contact cap), and coaches whose core work is per-client plans, habits, daily check-ins and signed agreements.
- Public rating: Trustpilot 3.4 out of 5 from 2,347 reviews, seen 25 October 2026. In our September 2026 research, G2 showed 4.1 from 93 reviews and Capterra 4.4 from 226 reviews.
- Trial and guarantee: a 14-day trial per Kajabi's help center (card optional) and a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan.
- Our pick for 1:1 and program-based coaches: Coachful, which puts booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, website, funnels and email in one subscription (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

What is Kajabi?
Kajabi is a platform for knowledge businesses: you build products (courses, memberships, communities, coaching, podcasts, newsletters, downloads) and sell them through a Kajabi website, landing pages, funnels and email. Its October 2026 pricing page pitches it as the replacement for "five tools that don't talk to each other."
The product menu on that page groups the platform into four areas. Build covers Backstage (marked new and described as premium personalized coaching), Courses, Communities, Newsletters, Coaching, Digital Downloads, Memberships and Podcasts. Launch and grow covers the Branded Mobile App, Email Marketing, Website Builder, Funnels and Automations, and the Amplify Ad Network. Earn and measure covers Payments, Analytics and the Contact CRM. AI and agents covers Cofounder, Kajabi MCP and Expert Agents, with Expert Agents marked as coming soon.
The model is product-first. A coaching client in Kajabi is a contact who bought a product and has access to it. That works well when you sell the same thing to many people. It is less natural when every client needs a different plan, a different set of tasks this week and a check-in tomorrow morning. Kajabi's own pricing FAQ is candid about the trade-off: it says that if you only want a course delivery platform, Kajabi is expensive, and that the value comes from also being your email tool, website, community and checkout.
If you want the cost picture in more depth, our Kajabi pricing breakdown goes plan by plan.
How does Kajabi handle each job a coach needs done?
Kajabi is strongest at marketing and selling, solid at course and community delivery, and thinnest at the one-to-one client experience. Here is what it documents for each job, with honest notes.
| Platform | Marketing | Selling | Delivery | Client experience | Admin |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Website builder with blog and 30 homepage templates, booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, email lists, broadcasts and branching sequences | Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay; one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons; 0% Coachful platform fee | Multi-week programs, courses, community, group calls, booking with calendar sync and built-in video | One branded client home and app with goals, habits, daily check-ins, streaks and sessions | Client records with status, e-signed coaching agreements, invoices, ICF hour tracking, Michelle AI assistant, team seats |
| Kajabi | Website, blog, unlimited landing pages, funnels and marketing emails on every plan; contact caps of 2,500, 25,000 or 100,000 | Kajabi Payments, PayPal, or another provider with a 0.5% to 2% Kajabi surcharge; affiliate programs from Growth | Courses, cohort courses, communities, a Coaching product with scheduler and live video, podcasts, downloads | Kajabi customer app; branded app listed on Pro; no habit tracking or daily check-ins | 2, 11 or 26 admin users; AI credits of 0, 500 or 1,000; no e-signature contracts (September 2026 research) |
Marketing: website, funnels and email
Kajabi's marketing tools are the reason most people buy it. As listed in October 2026, every plan includes unlimited marketing emails, landing pages and funnels, plus a website with a custom domain. Basic and Growth include one website and Pro includes three. Our September 2026 research also noted a blog, email sequences and automations, and checkout upsells inside funnels. The pricing page adds newer marketing items such as Comment-to-DM, a Universal Inbox and the Amplify Ad Network, but it does not make clear which plan includes each one.
The honest note is the contact cap. Unlimited emails only reach the contacts your plan allows: 2,500 on Basic, 25,000 on Growth and 100,000 on Pro. Kajabi's FAQ says extra contacts come in blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month. A coach with a 3,000-person list is already past Basic. Our September 2026 research also flagged a January 2026 restructure that cut Basic's contact allowance from 10,000 to 2,500.
For a side-by-side of how funnels and email compare for coaching, see Coachful vs Kajabi for coaching funnels and email.
Selling: checkout, payments and fees
Kajabi says it takes no revenue share as a platform, and that is true when you use Kajabi Payments: you pay card processing of 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro (US entities, as listed in October 2026). PayPal is also supported without a surcharge. If you bring another provider, such as your own Stripe account, Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro on top of that provider's fees.
The products cap matters as much as the fees. Basic allows 5 products, Growth 50, and Pro unlimited. A coach who sells a 1:1 package, a group program, a course, a membership and a paid workshop has used Basic's five. Our September 2026 research found checkout receipts and subscription management, but no standalone invoice builder, which matters if you bill corporate clients.

Delivery: courses, communities and the Coaching product
Courses are Kajabi's original core. Our September 2026 research recorded video hosting, drip release, quizzes, assessments and certificates, and the October 2026 pricing table adds cohort courses and video transcriptions and translations. Communities come with one per account on Basic and Growth and three on Pro, and the research noted challenges, live rooms and leaderboards inside them.
The Coaching product is where coaches should look hardest. In September 2026 it offered a built-in scheduler (or a connected Calendly or Acuity), built-in live video for up to 200 participants with 20 breakout rooms, and programs with timelines, session outlines, milestones and shared notes. That is more coaching structure than most course platforms offer. What it did not offer was a daily task or homework engine, habit tracking or client check-ins. Two-way calendar sync for the Kajabi scheduler was not confirmed on the coaching feature page at the time. Backstage, newly listed in October 2026 as premium personalized coaching, has its limits and pricing marked "to be determined" on the pricing page, so judge it when the details are published.
Client experience: what your clients see
Clients log in to a member area or the Kajabi customer app to reach their courses, community and coaching. Kajabi's October 2026 comparison table lists the branded mobile app (valued at $199 a month) on Pro, and the pricing FAQ points anyone who wants their own app in the App Store to Pro.
The gap for coaches is between sessions. Kajabi's model gives a client access to content and a community. It does not give each client a personal plan with today's tasks, a habit streak, a morning check-in and goals with progress bars. If your results depend on what clients do on Tuesday and Wednesday, not just what happens on the call, this is the part of Kajabi you would have to rebuild with forms, emails and workarounds.
Admin: team, AI, integrations and data
Admin users scale from 2 on Basic to 11 on Growth and 26 on Pro. AI credits are 0 on Basic, 500 on Growth and 1,000 on Pro, with a $15 top-up for 500 credits listed as coming. The pricing page lists Cofounder as Kajabi's AI tool for building a product, offer, sales page and email sequence, plus an API (shown as a $25 a month value), webhooks, a custom code editor and third-party integrations. Our September 2026 research found Zapier, Zoom, Google Meet, Calendly, Acuity and several email tools among its integrations.
Three admin gaps stood out in that research: no e-signature or contract feature, no native SMS, and no HIPAA support (GDPR tooling is there). On data, contacts, subscriptions, sales and members export as emailed CSV files, course content has to be downloaded manually asset by asset, and our older profile notes that data is removed 90 days after cancellation. Export everything before you cancel.
How much does Kajabi cost in 2026?
Kajabi costs $179, $249 or $499 a month on monthly billing, or $143, $199 or $399 a month billed annually, as listed in October 2026. There is no free plan, and the Kickstarter plan is not on the public pricing page.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Main limits | Fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Lower plans cap the number of clients; Pro is unlimited; team plans add coach seats | 0% Coachful platform fee; Stripe or Razorpay processing only |
| Kajabi Basic | $179 | $143 | 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, 2 admins, 0 AI credits | 2.9% + $0.30 via Kajabi Payments; +2% on other providers |
| Kajabi Growth | $249 | $199 | 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, 11 admins, 500 AI credits | 2.8% + $0.30 via Kajabi Payments; +1% on other providers |
| Kajabi Pro | $499 | $399 | Unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites, 3 communities, 26 admins, 1,000 AI credits | 2.7% + $0.30 via Kajabi Payments; +0.5% on other providers |
Over a year that is $2,148 on monthly Basic or $1,716 billed annually, $2,988 or $2,388 on Growth, and $5,988 or $4,788 on Pro. Kajabi's page shows the annual savings as $432, $600 and $1,200.
Here is an example of how the fee rules play out. Say a coach on Basic sells ten $300 coaching packages in a month, $3,000 in total. Through Kajabi Payments, processing is about $87 plus $3 in per-transaction fees, roughly $90. If the same coach connects their own Stripe account instead, Kajabi's 2% surcharge adds $60 on top of whatever Stripe charges. These are illustrative numbers, but they show why the surcharge pushes Basic users toward Kajabi Payments.
On the trial: Kajabi's help center describes a 14-day trial. A card is optional, and if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges on the day the trial ends. Some features stay locked until you activate a paid plan, including bulk contact import, test emails and some automations, so a trial is not a full test of a migration. Every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What do public reviewers praise and complain about?
Reviewers mostly praise the integrated workflow and mostly complain about support, billing and cancellation. The Trustpilot score of 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (seen 25 October 2026) reflects that split.
What reviewers praise
- Everything in one place. In our September 2026 research, about three in four Trustpilot reviews were five stars, and the common thread was having the website, email, checkout and courses share one contact record instead of stitching tools together.
- Stronger scores on software review sites. In September 2026, G2 showed 4.1 and Capterra 4.4, well above the Trustpilot figure.
Separately from reviewer sentiment, our September 2026 research credited Kajabi with a large ecosystem of templates, hireable experts and user community, which makes it easier to find help building things.
What reviewers complain about
- Support that is hard to escalate. Trustpilot reviewers in our September 2026 research described AI-first support that they could not get past to a human.
- Unexpected charges and cancellation trouble. Reviewers reported charges they did not expect and cancellations that did not go through, and some said they were asked to pay to retrieve their customer data.
- Value for money. On Capterra, value for money was Kajabi's weakest sub-score at 3.7 out of 5 in September 2026, which tracks with the January 2026 price restructure our research recorded.
- Deliverability and domains. Some 2026 reviews reported email deliverability problems and trouble connecting custom domains.
One caveat on volume: our September 2026 research found that only 87 of Kajabi's Trustpilot reviews came from the previous 12 months, so the total count mixes several years of a product that has changed a lot. Read recent reviews before you decide, and look for ones that describe a business like yours.
What are Kajabi's pros and cons?
Kajabi's pros are breadth and polish for product businesses; its cons are price, caps and the missing between-session tools for client work.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Website, email, funnels, checkout, courses and community share one contact list | Entry price of $179 a month ($143 annual) with a 5-product and 2,500-contact cap |
| Unlimited funnels, landing pages and marketing emails on every plan | Contacts beyond the cap cost $125 a month per 25,000 |
| Coaching product with a scheduler and built-in live video (September 2026 research) | No habit tracking, daily check-ins or per-client plans |
| No Kajabi revenue share on Kajabi Payments or PayPal | 0.5% to 2% surcharge if you use another payment provider |
| Mature course tools: drip, quizzes, certificates, cohort courses | No AI credits and no affiliate program on Basic |
| Branded App Store app available on Pro | Branded app sits on the $499 a month plan |
| Large template and expert ecosystem | No e-signature contracts or native SMS (September 2026 research) |
| 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan | Reviewer complaints about support escalation, billing and cancellation |
Who is Kajabi best for?
Kajabi is best for a full-time knowledge business with an audience: someone who sells courses, memberships and group programs to hundreds or thousands of people and wants marketing and delivery under one roof.
- Course-led businesses. If your revenue is mostly self-paced courses and memberships, Kajabi's course tools and funnels are built for exactly that.
- Audience-first coaches. If you already have a list in the thousands and sell launches to it, the unlimited emails and funnels pay off, provided your list fits the contact cap.
- Multi-brand operators. Pro's three websites and three communities suit someone running more than one brand, which is how Kajabi's own FAQ frames it.
- Teams. Growth's 11 admins and Pro's 26 suit a business with assistants, editors and community managers.
Kajabi is a weaker fit for coaches starting out, coaches who sell mostly 1:1 packages, and coaches who need signed agreements before the first call. For memberships specifically, our guide to running coaching memberships without Kajabi walks through billing and access, and if you are already on Kajabi and thinking of leaving, see how to move a coaching website off Kajabi.
What are the best Kajabi alternatives for coaches?
The best Kajabi alternative for most coaches is Coachful, because it covers Kajabi's marketing and selling jobs and adds the per-client delivery Kajabi lacks. Course platforms such as Thinkific, Teachable and Podia, and community platforms such as Circle, replace parts of Kajabi rather than the whole.
We ranked these on four things that matter most to coaches: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (monthly billing) | Platform fee on sales | Habits and daily check-ins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | 0% (Stripe or Razorpay processing only) | Yes, with streaks and goals |
| Kajabi | Course and membership businesses with an audience | $179 | 0% on Kajabi Payments; 0.5% to 2% on other providers | No |
| Thinkific | Course-first businesses | $109 | 0% on Thinkific Payments; extra gateway fee on third-party gateways | No |
| Teachable | Low-cost course and digital product sales | $39 | 7.5% on Starter; 0% on Builder and up | No |
| Podia | Simple storefront for courses, downloads and sessions | $49 | 5% on Mover; 0% on Shaker and up | No |
| Circle | Community-led memberships | $89 (annual billing) | 0.5% to 2% by plan | No |
| Kartra | Marketing suite with memberships and calendars | $59 | 5% on Essentials; 0% on Starter and Growth | No |
Prices for the other tools are as listed in October 2026. For a longer ranked list, see our Kajabi alternatives for coaches and the Kajabi alternative overview.
1. Coachful

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach gets one login and the client gets one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools.
Where Kajabi gives a client access to content, Coachful gives each client a plan. Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. The client record pulls goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions together, and marks each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs a message before they drift.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:
The marketing side covers the jobs most coaches buy Kajabi for: a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking; a link-in-bio page that sells; and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits.

Booking is native rather than bolted on. Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts), which is the gap our research found in Kajabi.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing, and there is no surcharge for bringing your own Stripe account.
Courses (modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking), downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles are delivered into the client's branded home and app. The community includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes help you start from something rather than a blank page. All of this is included in your Coachful membership. See courses for coaches and group coaching software for more.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions, briefs you before each session and, if you opt in, gives private feedback on your coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. Coachful also tracks coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log (see ICF hour tracking).
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you · FREE", you describe what you want built: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, lead quiz, webinar or automation. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi, for example, had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. A leadership coach with a website renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. The service does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It does not support PayPal and has no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account, which is a real difference from Kajabi Pro. It is not a course marketplace, not a general website builder for non-coaching sites, and has no third-party plugins. The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.
How to start. Pick a plan (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients), start a free trial, and request a white-glove build for your website or first program. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and monthly plans cancel in one click. For a full independent-style look at our own product, read the Coachful review, and for the head-to-head, see Coachful vs Kajabi.
Pick Kajabi over Coachful if you need your own branded app in the App Store, sell mostly self-paced courses to a large audience, or want PayPal at checkout.
2. Thinkific

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. As listed in October 2026, Start is $109 a month ($82 annual), Grow $219 ($164 annual) and Expand $499 ($374 annual), after a roughly 10% price rise on 13 August 2026. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day free trial. There is no Thinkific fee on Thinkific Payments, but third-party gateways carry an extra gateway fee. Our older research found no built-in 1:1 scheduling, and there are no client habits or daily check-ins. The branded mobile app is a $199 a month add-on. Its Trustpilot score was 1.8 from 868 reviews on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is almost entirely self-paced courses for large student numbers and you do little live client work.
3. Teachable

Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $39 a month ($29 annual) with a 7.5% transaction fee, Builder $89 ($69 annual) and Growth $189 ($139 annual), both with 0% platform fees. Our older research found no native scheduling or calendar sync, so coaching calls rely on outside booking tools, and there are no client habits or check-ins. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 1,110 reviews on 25 October 2026. Our Kajabi vs Teachable guide compares the two in depth.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the cheapest way to sell a handful of courses and are happy to run coaching through separate tools.
4. Podia

Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community. As listed in October 2026, Mover is $49 a month ($42 annual) with a 5% Podia fee, Shaker $99 ($84 annual) and Earthquaker $179 ($150 annual), both with 0% fees. The trial is 14 days with no card required. Email allowances are small (100, 500 or 1,000 subscribers included), our older research found no mobile app and no native video calls, and there are no client habits or check-ins. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews on 25 October 2026. See Kajabi vs Podia for more.
Pick it over Coachful if you want a very simple shop for a few digital products and your email list is small.
5. Circle

Circle is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. As listed in October 2026 on annual billing, Professional is $89 a month, Business $199 and Scale $419, with Circle Plus custom-priced. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, on top of Stripe processing. The trial is 14 days with no card required. There is no 1:1 scheduling or client back office, no per-client habits or check-ins, and branded apps are only on Circle Plus. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 129 reviews on 25 October 2026. Read our Circle review and Kajabi vs Circle.
Pick it over Coachful if a large, discussion-heavy community is the product and coaching is secondary.
How does Kajabi compare with a coaching platform day to day?
Day to day, Kajabi asks you to think in products and contacts, while a coaching platform asks you to think in clients and programs. The difference shows up in small, repeated tasks.

Take a 12-week program for eight clients as an example. In Kajabi, you would build it as a course or Coaching product, schedule calls through the Kajabi scheduler or a connected tool, collect any agreement through a separate e-signature service, and nudge clients between sessions with emails or community posts. You would see course progress, but not whether a client did their morning check-in or kept their habit streak.
In Coachful, the same program has weekly goals, daily tasks and habits per client, a morning and evening check-in, agreements signed before the first call, and a client list that flags who has gone quiet. Cohort groups are created when clients enroll. The marketing that brought them in (website, funnel, email sequence) lives in the same account. That is why we think coaches who sell outcomes, not content, get more from a coaching platform. Our coaching software page shows the full set of tools in one place.
Kajabi still wins on a few things: your own App Store app on Pro, PayPal at checkout, a much larger ecosystem of hired experts and templates, and more than a decade on the market (it was founded in 2010, per our September 2026 research).
Is Kajabi worth it in 2026?
Kajabi is worth it if you run an audience-led course or membership business, your list fits the contact caps, and you will use Kajabi Payments or PayPal to avoid the surcharge. It is hard to justify for a coach who mostly runs 1:1 or small-group programs, because you pay at least $179 a month on monthly billing for marketing breadth while still missing habits, check-ins and contracts.
Our verdict: a capable, mature platform for selling knowledge products, with a mixed public reputation on support and billing. For coaches whose results depend on what clients do between sessions, Coachful is the better fit, with booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community and marketing in one place and a free white-glove build to get you running.
Frequently asked questions about Kajabi
Is Kajabi good for coaches?
Kajabi is good for coaches who sell courses, memberships and group programs to an audience. It has a Coaching product with a scheduler and live video, per our September 2026 research. It lacks habit tracking, daily check-ins and e-signature agreements, so coaches who run per-client programs often find a coaching platform fits better.
How much does Kajabi cost per month?
As listed in October 2026, Kajabi Basic is $179 a month, Growth $249 and Pro $499 on monthly billing. Billed annually, they work out to $143, $199 and $399 a month. Extra contacts cost $125 a month per 25,000.
Does Kajabi have a free trial?
Yes. Kajabi's help center describes a 14-day trial with a card optional; if you enter one, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends. Bulk contact import, test emails and some automations stay locked until you activate a paid plan.
Does Kajabi take a percentage of sales?
Not on Kajabi Payments or PayPal, where you pay only processing (2.9% + $0.30 on Basic down to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro for US entities). If you use another provider, such as your own Stripe account, Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro.
What is Kajabi's Trustpilot rating?
Kajabi held 3.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews on 25 October 2026. Reviewers praise the integrated tools and complain most about support escalation, unexpected charges and cancellation problems.
Can I get a branded mobile app on Kajabi?
Kajabi's October 2026 comparison table lists the branded mobile app on Pro, and its FAQ points anyone who wants their own App Store app to Pro, which is $499 a month or $399 billed annually. Lower plans use the Kajabi customer app.
How do I export my data if I leave Kajabi?
Contacts, subscriptions, sales and members export as emailed CSV files, while course content has to be downloaded manually asset by asset. Our September 2026 profile notes data is removed 90 days after cancellation, so export everything first. Our guide to delivering audio courses without Kajabi covers one common migration case.
Is Coachful a full replacement for Kajabi?
For most coaches, yes: Coachful covers the website, funnels, email, checkout, courses and community, and adds programs with habits and check-ins, booking and signed agreements. It does not offer PayPal, your own App Store app or a course marketplace, so check those against your needs.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
You describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, program, course outline or email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours.
