Stripe — coaches connect via OAuth in 60 seconds, and we charge in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD or AUD. We do not currently support PayPal or Mercado Pago — Stripe covers the majority of countries coaches operate in.
Yes. Take a $1,800 program and split it into 6 monthly payments, with the same total or a higher payment-plan total. Stripe charges the card automatically each month. If a payment fails, Stripe retries on a smart schedule and we pause the client's access until it recovers.
Yes — monthly or annual. Clients self-manage cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal. Failed-card dunning is handled automatically. You see MRR, churn, and active subscriber counts inside Coachful.
Yes. Create coupon codes with expiry dates, usage limits, and (for subscriptions) duration controls — once, forever, or N billing cycles. Codes apply at checkout and the discount logic is enforced server-side via Stripe.
One click. Full refund or partial. We send the refund through Stripe and update the invoice status. If the purchase grants access to a program or product, you can revoke that access at the same time so the client doesn't keep what they were refunded for.
Nothing — Coachful doesn't add a platform fee on transactions. You pay only Stripe's standard processing fee. Some platforms charge no transaction fee but cost $149–399/mo (Kajabi) or take 5–10% of revenue (Teachable, Podia free plan). Coachful is $49/mo flat — for most coaches this works out to less than the alternatives once you add up the rest of the stack (checkout tool, scheduling, contracts, CRM).
Yes. Each offer has its own checkout page that carries your logo, brand colors, and domain (e.g. yourname.coachful.co/buy). Clients see a professional checkout, not a generic Stripe-hosted form with our branding.
Yes. A card is required at signup so you can test the full payment flow end-to-end (we never put you in a fake sandbox), but we don't charge during the trial and you can cancel in one click.
